Recently, while searching for something, I kept running across some visions I had received while in prayer. I had written these visions out and seldom return to them unless I was led by the Holy Spirit. This was a time I felt led to stop and read them. As I read the one included in this article, I discerned that even though I received this two years ago, it was relevant for today.
In June of 2015, the Lord Jesus took me up on a mountain and told me to “look.” As I looked around I saw dense, gray clouds covering everything including all the other visible mountains, as far as the eye could see, there was nothing but gray clouds. The mountain I was on with Jesus was clear with fluffy white, clouds and the visibility downward was crystal clear.
The Lord began to tell me that “darkness will cover the earth, and times of famine and war were near, but those who ascend to My Mountain will be safe.”
And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Phil. 4:19
He said “My Father knows what you need and He will make provision for those who come to this Mountain. Although the days of being rich will come to an end, you will have all you need to survive, and you will have joy in doing so.”
The Lord does not let the righteous go hungry, but he thwarts the craving of the wicked. Prov. 10:3
He went on to say, “There will be those who do not make time to come to My Mountain because they are too busy with the world and the things in it, they will perish, but I will see them in My Father's Kingdom. There will be others who do not believe they can ascend to this mountain, and therefore they will not find refuge in the clefts of the rocks, they will perish, but I will see them in My Father's Kingdom."
For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent and set me high upon a rock. Ps 27:5 NIV
He continued "Then, there are those who know Me, they will do whatever it takes and give up whatever they have, to find a way to ascend to this Mountain. Because of their determination to be with Me and deny themselves, I will walk with them; I will show them things to come. My Prophets will know before the world has the knowledge, of the destruction that lay near, they will warn others on this Mountain which will give them time to prepare and escape if necessary. These are the ones who will see My Father’s Glory; these are the ones who are My friends and have not loved their lives, even till death.”
As I looked down the mountain I could see thousands of people climbing up, some were helping each other and others were “jetted” directly towards us. The people who knew they had nothing to lose, were the most determined to reach Jesus. I could see the fear in some of their faces and yet they seemed to know if they reached the top that they would be okay. I saw families climbing up together and others that were elderly and alone but faithfully climbing!
Then the Lord said, “the day will be night and night will be day.” I did not comprehend what He was saying, but my first thought was the words of Isaiah, "Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!" - Isa 5:20. I sensed He was saying more than that.
I asked Him, and He said that “because of all the evil in the times ahead there will be chaos abounding, and there will no longer be a concept of time, people will not sleep according to the day and night, but they will sleep according to their safety. Clouds will loom over the world so that the sun will not shine as it does now. Therefore, time will not be as you know it today.”
6 On that day there will be neither sunlight nor cold, frosty darkness. 7 It will be a unique day—a day known only to the LORD—with no distinction between day and night. When evening comes, there will be light. Zechariah 14:6-7
I wanted to help the people who were climbing the Mountain, but because I did not see Jesus reaching down towards them, I felt that I shouldn’t either. He seemed to be so confident that those climbing would reach Him and I sensed that it was all about faith.
I pondered a question in my heart, would we believe Him enough to ascend to the only Mountain that was not covered in gray clouds? Would we be willing to do the work to climb or would we stay at the foot of the other mountains in hopes that the world would go back to normal someday?
I saw very quickly in my spirit that the world will not return to that which we once knew and that’s a good thing because the world we once knew, the world before June 26, 2015, was godless, self-centered and bent on the iniquities of Satan! The world we knew before today was headed directly into the abyss of hell and at least now I felt there was a chance that our God would judge rightly and save those who are called by His name. I'm not asking for the wrath of God, yet I know in His rebuke many will turn and be saved. Sometimes we must suffer to recognize our needs. My hope is in the sufferings we all face, we will cry out to the One who saves.
I love this country and am grateful for the freedoms we still have here, thankful to all of the men in my generations who fought in many wars for the privileges here. But the iniquity, sin, and transgressions against God have oppressed the righteous for so long that we cannot possibly stand in this any longer. I am reminded of the words of Peter that told of a time when God delivered a righteous man named Lot, who was oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked and how his soul was tormented by the lawless deeds he saw and heard around him.
There is a remnant tormented by the lawlessness of this world, and they struggle in agony of their souls as they watch the continuation of the degradation of their nation! And just as in the days of Lot when he had to live amongst the wickedness of his country so do we. Unfortunately, the Church has ignored the cries of the righteous, the cries of the Prophets who tried to speak against the iniquities that are engulfing this land, although they have ears to hear and eyes to see they choose not to look or listen. Instead, they build mega conglomerations of corporate churches that in the end, only serve to make money for those who are the headship of such conglomerations!
The good news is that God delivered Lot from that wickedness, He gave him instruction and, if followed, he and his family would escape the wrath. Unfortunately, one looked back and was turned into a pillar of salt. We have much to learn from the action of Lots wife. Once we commit to going forward in the direction and order of the Lord, we cannot look back at what we are leaving behind. When we choose to ascend to the Mountain of the Lord, we must continue forward in all hope and promise that God will provide and will protect us from the coming wrath!
God loves mercy, but He is also just. Therefore, we must know that at some point all the cries will be heard in the Heavens and there will be a response, just as the days of Lot! The good news is God shows mercy and grace to thousands of generations, and we have a promise in Christ that His mercy will reign over our families and us!
This vision on the mountaintop did not leave my spirit. I returned there a couple of weeks later, with agony, yet excitement in my heart to see what more Jesus might reveal.
As I returned to my conversation with Jesus, I noticed the mountain was now flat on the top and covered in green. Many intercessors were on this mountain. Some were in groups praying, and many others were alone in their prayer places, wherever that may be. In the sky, there was thick and intense warfare above the intercessors, angels, and demons fighting ferociously. As I continued to look, I saw bat like creatures of gray color with a large wingspan. The bat like creatures were swooping down on some of the intercessors causing a great distraction to their ability to pray. Most of the intercessors would swat at the bats but had no effect on them at all; it only prolonged their distractions. I asked Jesus what they were to do and He said, "the saints needed to take full authority over the bat distractions and take them seriously because they were sent to rob them of their precious prayer times!"
This nation is in need of prayer now more than ever. Our country is threatened on all sides with natural disasters, fires, floods, and even murderers bent on pouring their angry wrath onto innocent people. This mountain is a secret place, a place where only those willing to lose sleep, fast, and pray can find. This climb up the mountain is not for the feint of heart or the idle it is only for those who know they have nothing left to lose, and nothing left to give.
Let’s Pray,
Heavenly Father, I come to Your mercy and grace filled throne room for the saints, for those who give their lives to intercession. I lift them up to you and ask for Your angels to provide all they have need of in the coming days, for your Glory to fall in their midst and for their strength to endure. I pray for those who are trying to ascend to the mountain of You Lord, that they will prevail and darkness would not overcome them. I give You alone thanks and honor for all You have done and continue to do to speak to those who will hear. Thank You for the warnings and directions that You release to Your prophets. May the hearers not mock what they say, may they be rewarded for hearing the messengers. In Jesus name, Amen
